The first flights of SCAT Airlines from Shymkent International Airport to Budapest and Munich have been launched. These flights mark the first step in implementing a large-scale program to develop an aviation hub based at Shymkent Airport.
As part of the program, direct flights to seven cities around the world have already been launched. Now, passengers can travel from Shymkent to:
Munich – one of Germany’s largest cities, known for its cultural attractions and economic opportunities;
Budapest – the capital of Hungary, a popular destination for tourism and business;
Shanghai – China’s largest metropolis and a major economic and cultural center;
Urumqi – the administrative center of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China, a key transport hub in Western China;
Xi’an – an ancient Chinese capital and one of the country’s main tourist destinations;
Seoul – the capital of South Korea, known for its dynamic culture and advanced economy;
Cairo – the capital of Egypt, famous for its rich historical heritage and tourism potential.
